We as Epidotte hereby inform you about our communication procedures and applications for processing your personal data and your rights under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data.

Who is responsible for your personal data?

As Epidotte, we process your personal data as the “Data Controller” within the scope explained below and defined in the Law no. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data (“PPD Law”).

1. Collection and Processing of Your Personal Data and Purposes of Processing

Your personal data may be collected automatically or non-automatically, verbally, in writing or electronically, depending on the services provided by Epidotte and its commercial activities, through Epidotte departments and offices, websites, social media, mobile applications and similar means. Your personal data may be collected, processed and updated as long as you benefit from the products and services provided by Epidotte.

Further, your personal data may be processed when you use our call centres or visit Epidotte or its website for using our services or you participate in any event organised by us.

Your personal data collected is processed in accordance with the Articles 5 and 6 of the PPD Law for the purposes of conducting necessary activities for the provision of the services and products provided by Epidotte, customizing the products and services offered by it based on your preferences, habits and needs, ensuring the legal and commercial security of Epidotte and individuals involved in business relationship with it, and determine and implement Epidotte's commercial and business strategies.

2. Parties to whom the Data may be Transferred and Purpose of Transfer

Your personal data collected by us may be processed and transferred to our business partners, suppliers, executives, shareholders, legally authorized public and private persons in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes defined in the Articles 8 and 9 of the Law no. 6698, for the purposes of conducting necessary activities for the provision of the services and products provided by Epidotte, customizing the products and services offered by it based on your preferences, habits and needs, ensuring the legal and commercial security of Epidotte and individuals involved in business relationship with it, and determine and implement Epidotte's commercial and business strategies.

3. Methods and Legal Ground for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected in any verbal, written or electronic environment for the above mentioned purposes to ensure that our Company’s products and services are offered in accordance with legal requirements and our Company fulfils its contractual and legal obligations completely and properly. Your personal data collected on these legal grounds can be processed and transferred in accordance with the conditions and purposes of processing personal data described in Articles 5 and 6 of the PPD Law and for the purposes set forth in articles (1) and (2) of this document.

4. The Rights of the Personal Data Holder

The rights of the personal data holder are listed in the Article 11 of the PPD Law. Accordingly, you, as a personal data holder, are entitled to:

(i) learn whether your personal data is processed, (ii) request information if your personal data has been processed, (iii) learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose, (iv) learn the recipients to whom your personal data has been disclosed at home or abroad, (v) request the correction of any inaccurately or incompletely processed personal data, (vi) request the erasure or destruction of your personal data according to the Article 7, (vii) request notification of the procedures made as per the items (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred, (viii) object to any result against you due to the analysis of the processed personal data exclusively by automatic systems, (ix) claim compensation for damage you suffer as a result of any unlawful processing of your personal data.   

If you, as the personal data holder, inform our company of your requests for your rights via the methods specified in this Information Notice for Processing of Personal Data, our Company will handle and conclude your request, free of charge, as soon as possible, but no later than thirty days after receipt of the request. However, if this procedure causes our Company to incur any cost, you will be charged a fee as specified in the Personal Data Protection Board.

According to the Article 13/1 of the PPD Law, you can submit your requests to our Company regarding the exercise of your rights above in writing or by any other means determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. For the Personal Data Protection Board has not determined any method at this stage, you should submit your applications to our Company in writing in accordance with the PPD Law.

Accordingly, you may send your request, together the information necessary for proving your identity and your explanation regarding the specific right you want to exercise, out of the rights set forth in the Article 11 of the PPD Law, to our company through our website www.epidotte.com for the brand Epidotte.

Epidotte is required to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date according to the Article 4 of the PPD Law. Thus, our customers should disclose the accurate and up-to-date personal information to Epidotte so that we can perform our obligations under the law.
